AMC

The Adaptable Medical Controller, or AMC, is a multifunctional intelligent machine that totally redefines the interaction between health providers, machines, and patients. It takes medical equipment to a new level by combining ergonomics, communication, versatility, and functionality. The AMC introduces a higher standard and ease of care than has previously been imagined. The AMC is a medical device with intelligence.

WHY THE AMC?

Versatile

Today it seems like there are more medical devices than there are actual medical procedures. With over 10,000 types of medical devices available today, many with their own control box and their own set of instructions, it is time to loose the clutter.

High-Tech

Or should we say HITECH? The healthcare industry is rapidly transitioning to electronic record keeping, as specified by HITECH, the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act. For many healthcare providers this can be a difficult, time consuming, and costly transition.

Intelligent

In order to advance medicine and save lives, equipment must keep pace with the latest techniques and research. Yet, most medical devices are built for a static world, unable to adapt to progress in medicine and surgery.

The AMC Solution

The AMC’s patented technology is versatile enough to serve a variety of medical needs, all with a single machine. The AMC is highly cost- effective and means less clutter, less risk of contamination, less confusion, and less frustration.

The AMC is a complete system that is integrated with a cutting-edge electronic health record system. This not only improves patient care, but also advances compliance with the Act. The AMC makes a smooth transition into the digital world simple – and intelligent.

The AMC system can be adjusted and tailored, making it possible for healthcare providers to adjust to a rapidly changing industry without buying a whole new system. The AMC introduces a new kind of adaptability and intelligence.

The AMC Redefines Intelligent

The Adaptable Medical Controller, or AMC, is a revolutionary tool uniquely designed to meet a wide range of medical needs. Currently, medical practitioners have no option other than to use expensive medical equipment that places little emphasis on the user’s ability to self-service or customize their tools. Through a combination of innovative hardware and software, the AMC puts all the emphasis on the user – it fits you.

Most medical equipment is controlled through individualized boxes, such that each medical procedure frequently requires many entirely separate machines. The machines usually have their own specialized software, in addition to their own unique – and often steep – learning curve. The AMC is a revolutionary, universal device that can run a multitude of medical equipment all from the same control box. If desired, the AMC can even integrate with currently available systems, precluding the need to buy new hand pieces and other accessories. With the AMC, healthcare providers need not learn a host of different, complicated software.

The AMC is even customizable. Now, a general practitioner, a surgeon, a dentist, and a paramedic can all use the same device that has been tailor-made to meet both their individual needs and those of their patients. The AMC controls are completely intuitive and can be adjusted to the individual desires of the user. With over 100 pre-orders, the demand for this technology is clear. Market Potential

The United States spent $159 billion on medical devices in 2011. The AMC has the potential to replace many of these devices. The ultimate multi-functional tool, the AMC will impact the entire healthcare industry.

Electronic Health Records

The healthcare industry is demanding a new level of intelligence in electronic record keeping. Intelligence the AMC can provide.

Electronic Health Records

Electronic Health Records (EHR) are digital files that provide medical professionals with easy access to patients’ full medical records. In 2009, the U.S. government passed the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, as a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Act provides incentive programs to accelerate the use of information technology, including EHR, in healthcare.

In 2013, 78% of office-based physicians had adopted some type of EHR system. However, only 48% had an EHR system that met the criteria for a basic system, which according to the Centers for Disease Control includes: “patient history and demographics, patient problem lists, physical clinical notes, comprehensive list of patients’ medications and allergies, computerized orders for prescriptions, and ability to view laboratory and imaging results electronically.”

The AMC provides everything necessary to effortlessly meet, and exceed, a basic EHR system. The healthcare industry is demanding a new level of intelligence. Intelligence only the AMC can provide.

(Done)

The healthcare industry will soon enjoy the amazing versatility, intelligence, and ease of use offered by the AMC. In the United States alone, the number of potential users is enormous.
